Terms of Service

Effective date: June 26, 2026 · Last updated: June 26, 2026

Welcome to Wooster Prep. These Terms govern your access to and use of Wooster Prep and should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service are a legal agreement between you and Wooster Prep. They govern your access to and use of woosterprep.com, its subdomains, and the products, services, content, diagnostics, reports, tools, and AI-powered features we make available through them.

By accessing or using the Service, including by taking the free diagnostic, creating an account, clicking I agree, or purchasing a plan, you confirm that you have read, understand, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, meet the eligibility requirements below, and, if you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a minor, have authority to do so.

2. Eligibility, Minors, and Parental Consent

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. In keeping with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and the Service is not designed for or directed to children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use the Service or provide personal information.

If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you may use the Service only with the involvement, knowledge, and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and accepts responsibility for your use of the Service.

If you are a parent or guardian and you allow a minor to use the Service, you agree to these Terms on the minor’s behalf and are responsible for the minor’s use of the Service and any activity under the account.

3. The Service and Your License to Use It

The Service includes a free plan and one or more paid plans. The Free Plan costs nothing and includes the diagnostic, your personalized report, access to a starter bank of more than 1,500 practice questions, and three full-length SAT-style practice exams.

Paid plans give access to fuller SAT preparation materials, including your complete personalized ranking, instructional videos, notes, a larger practice-question bank, mastery tests, and additional full-length practice tests. The Service is a self-serve online product and does not include live classes, tutoring, or one-on-one instruction.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Wooster Prep grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service and content for your own personal, non-commercial educational use only.

4. Your Account

To access certain features you may need to create an account. You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it up to date.

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. You may not share your account or password, create more than one account, create an account using false information, or use someone else’s account without permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts if information is untrue, inaccurate, or incomplete, or if you violate these Terms.

5. The Diagnostic, Reports, and Score Projections

The free diagnostic and report are study aids designed to help you understand strengths, gaps, and where additional study may have the greatest impact.

Any score range, projected point gain, or uplift figure is a modeled estimate based on your responses and our methodology. It is not a guarantee, promise, or assurance of any particular SAT score or score improvement.

Wooster Prep does not administer the SAT, is not affiliated with or endorsed by the College Board or any testing authority, and has no responsibility for official test registration, scoring, admissions decisions, or third-party decisions based on scores.

Our practice questions, explanations, and instructional materials are original works or are based on publicly available frameworks. They are not actual, past, or licensed SAT exam questions.

6. Artificial Intelligence

Some Service content, including explanations, practice materials, study recommendations, rankings, and portions of reports, may be created, drafted, generated, or assisted by AI tools.

AI-assisted and AI-generated content is provided as is for general educational purposes only. It may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies, and you should use your own judgment and consult teachers, counselors, or other trusted sources where appropriate.

The Service may rely on third-party AI providers. Where needed to deliver a feature, you authorize us to share information with those providers, subject to our Privacy Policy.

7. Fees, Purchases, and Refunds

Current U.S. plans and prices may include: Free Plan at US $0; Wooster Plan at US $99 for 12 months of access; Wooster Plus at US $249 for 24 months of access; and Monthly Plan at US $39 per month until cancelled. Plans, prices, features, and access periods may change prospectively.

The Monthly Plan renews automatically each month until you cancel. When you subscribe, you authorize us and our payment provider to charge your payment method at the start of the subscription and each renewal period until cancellation.

You may cancel the Monthly Plan at any time through account settings or by contacting hal@woosterprep.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid monthly period.

You may request a full refund within three days of purchase by contacting hal@woosterprep.com. After that window, fees are non-refundable except as stated in these Terms or required by law.

8. Your Content

Your Content means information, answers, text, messages, feedback, prompts, or other materials you submit, upload, or share through the Service.

You keep ownership of Your Content. You grant Wooster Prep a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, use, reproduce, and process Your Content as needed to operate, provide, secure, improve, and comply with law.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information that is not necessary, especially through AI features.

9. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

You agree to use the Service only for lawful, personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

You may not copy, resell, scrape, crawl, harvest, reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or commercially exploit the Service; use the Service or content to train AI systems without permission; remove proprietary notices; share accounts; impersonate others; misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation; upload unlawful or harmful content; harvest other users’ information; cheat; or use the Service in a way prohibited by school, test administrator, or applicable rules.

10. Ownership and Intellectual Property

Except for Your Content, Wooster Prep and its licensors own all right, title, and interest in the Service, including software, code, algorithms, machine-learning models, text, questions, explanations, videos, designs, graphics, the Moneyball Method and High-Impact ROI methodology, the Wooster Prep name and logo, and related intellectual property rights.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may rely on or link to third-party websites, applications, payment processors, AI providers, and other services that we do not control. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at /privacy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information, including information relating to minors and parental-consent processes.

13. Term and Termination

These Terms apply for as long as you use the Service. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or for other reasonable cause.

14. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and all content, including diagnostics, reports, score projections, practice materials, and AI-assisted outputs, are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee any SAT score, score improvement, grade, admissions outcome, or other result. You use the Service at your own risk and are responsible for ensuring your use complies with school or testing-authority rules.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wooster Prep and its affiliates, personnel, suppliers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims will not exceed the greater of the total amount you paid Wooster Prep in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $100.

16. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wooster Prep and its affiliates, personnel, suppliers, and licensors from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of Your Content, your use or misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

17. Dispute Resolution, Binding Arbitration, and Class-Action Waiver

Before starting arbitration, you agree to contact us at hal@woosterprep.com and give us a chance to resolve the dispute informally.

You and Wooster Prep agree that most disputes will be resolved by individual, binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except for qualifying small-claims matters and requests for equitable relief to protect intellectual property.

You and Wooster Prep agree that each may bring claims only on an individual basis, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first agreeing to these Terms by emailing hal@woosterprep.com.

18. General Provisions

These Terms and any dispute are governed by Delaware law, consistent with the Federal Arbitration Act, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version with a new Last Updated date and, where appropriate, provide notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

You consent to receive communications electronically. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them freely. If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

19. How to Contact Us

Questions about these Terms or the Service can be sent to hal@woosterprep.com.
